Capacity Building and Infrastructure Development

Our capacity building and infrastructure initiatives are designed to allow volunteers and students to make meaningful contributions toward the long-term sustainability of our AZBGC's programs and facilities.

We conduct workshops focused on health, life skills, and education, and we proudly welcome international volunteers throughout the year. These dedicated individuals include coaches, healthcare professionals, accountants, educators, engineers, business experts, students, retirees, students and other skilled individuals who are committed to community development.

Volunteers collaborate closely with AZBGC leadership on a wide range of initiatives that are fundamental to the growth and sustainability of our programs. Areas of focus include facility renovation, water and sanitation projects, vocational training (such as sewing and farming), coaching and sports development, health and hygiene education, safety protocols, accountability systems, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.

Supporting children and youth requires continuous investment and effort. Maintaining and upgrading our infrastructure is an ongoing challenge, and we are deeply grateful for the contributions of all those who help us create lasting impact in the lives of young people.

Environmental Sustainability

We are committed to protecting our natural environment for future generations. Tree planting is an integral part of our youth-led sustainability efforts. Why we plant trees:

  • Improve air quality

  • Provide food (mango, orange, jackfruit, avocado)

  • Offer shade and habitat for animals

  • Prevent erosion and reduce flood risks

  • Create peaceful, green recreational spaces

Our youth proudly lead annual tree-planting campaigns, becoming advocates for climate resilience and environmental awareness.
