Our Story
The Agnes Zabali Boys & Girls Club (AZBGC) is a registered Canadian charity whose goal is to provide children and youth a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment focused on education, health, youth development, and sustainable community building.
The Agnes Zabali Boys and Girls Club (AZBGC) is dedicated to the well-being and empowering children and youth by providing access to essential resources such as scholarships, healthcare, learning materials, computer training, sports equipment, and employment workshops. Through these initiatives, members are supported in improving their quality of life and becoming active, engaged contributors to their communities.
Mission
Advancing education, health, and sports opportunities for vulnerable youth. Our mission is to ensure access to education, especially for girls, expand healthcare, empower children and youth through sports, leadership, life skills, promote local economic development through youth-led initiatives and provide a safe, inclusive space for personal growth and community engagement.
Core Values
AZBGC promotes values of inclusion, dignity, and respect, ensuring every child and adult feels valued. Core values such as hard work, honesty, fair play, cooperation, and self-respect are regularly emphasized. We believe these values are essential for helping young people become responsible, self-reliant individuals who make informed decisions, lead healthy lifestyles, and grow into strong leaders.
AZBGC is a non-political, non-religious organization that welcomes all children regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion, with a clear goal: to help as many children as possible access education and enjoy a safe space to learn, grow, and thrive.
